Prior to joining McCabe & Mack, Sarah served as a volunteer researcher for the Department of Homeland Security, specifically working with the special agents assigned to the cultural property, art and antiquities investigations.

Sarah originally hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved to Poughkeepsie after spending several years living in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys travelling, exploring the Hudson Valley and neighboring states, and visiting the numerous art museums and cultural institutions in the region.

Commercial Litigation: Representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of litigation, including disputes over employment agreements, shareholder agreements, contracts for goods and services, real estate contracts, lease agreements, commercial lending agreements and secured transactions.

Litigation/Insurance Defense: Representing businesses, individuals and municipalities who are being sued for personal injury or property damage resulting from automobile, premises liability or other types of accidents. Ms. Wilson conducts all phases of the personal injury case.

Personal Injury Plaintiff: Representing clients who have sustained serious injuries due to premises liability, automobile or other types of accidents in all phases of litigation.

Subrogation: Prosecuting and defending lawsuits commenced by insurance carriers to recover property damage payments as a result of fire, flood, oil spills and other accidents.

Arbitration: Prosecuting and defending arbitration disputes stemming from lawsuits and/or supplementary underinsured/uninsured motorist endorsements.

Appellate Practice: Representing clients through the civil appeals process, including the preparation of briefs and oral argument before the Appellate Divisions throughout New York.

Intellectual Property: Preparing, reviewing and negotiating license, assignment and royalty agreements; handling copyright and trademark registration filings; negotiating and drafting non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.

Art and Museum Law: Preparing loan and exhibition agreements; assisting clients with art loss recovery; conducting provenance research; representing artists and art dealers in sales transactions.
